Beyblade is a Japanese series that was created by Takao Aoki. The original characters were showcased in the series CoroCoro Comic, which was a weekly magazine that made its debut in 1977. The series is centered on a group of kids that are structured in teams and perform battles against each other using highly powerful spin tops, known as “Beyblades”. Each Beyblade is equipped with an enchanted magical spirit that gives it power and helps the owner win the battle. The newest television series-featuring Beyblades is “Beyblade Metal Fusion” and was released in 2009 in Japan and 2010 in the U.S. The new series features a new cast of characters and Beyblades, making competitions more exciting. The popularity of the Beyblade videos has influenced children from around the world to collect the different spin tops and battle them with their friends.

“Pegasus Has Landed” (May 15, 2010) – A new challenger in Beyblade named Kenta meets Ginga Hagane, who is a wandering player. Ginga Hagane’s quest is to search for strong opponents to face off against. Ginga begins to mentor Kenta in the fight against a bully gang of face hunters.

“Leone’s Roar!” (May 15, 2010) - This episode continues with Ginga and Kenta running into Madoka, a girl that assists in analyzing and reinforcing Beyblades. The ability “Storm Pegasus” is investigated to see if its performance can be improved upon. The main conflict in this episode occurs when Kyouya, the leader of the face hunters abducts Kenta’s Sagittario. In response, Ginga does battle with him and improves his power doing so.

“The Wolf’s Ambition” (May 15, 2010) – A mysterious businessman named “Douji” kidnaps Kyouya and forces him into an ultimatum; defeat him and his dark wolf or be taken under control and made stronger as a number two. Ginga and Kenta also battle, so that Kenta can show him his growing strength.

“Charge! Bull Power” (May 15, 2010) – After the face hunters loose their leader, Kyouya, they instill a temporary leader named “Benkei” and he accepts a new and more powerful Beyblade from Douji. The new Beyblade is accepted as a means to try and get their former leader, Kyouya back.

“Vengeful Gasher” (May 22, 2010) – Tetsuya Watarugani is a bully, crab and obsessed weirdo, who terrorizes bladers by scratching their Beyblades on purpose. Ginga takes it upon himself to stop him.

“Aquario’s Challenge” (May 29, 2010) – In this episode we meet Hikaru, who is a wandering female Beyblader looking for new challenges and stronger opponents. The temporary Face Hunters leader, Benkei incorporates Hikaru into the group to and tasks her with challenging Ginga. Before the battle can take place, Ginga becomes ill and Kenta steps in to battle.

“It’s Our Special Move! Sagittario” (June 5, 2010) – Kenta looses all his points to Hikaru and is embarrassed during the battle. He decides to undertake a training regime with Benkei to improve his skills and starts to develop a new final move.

“Merci’s Dangerous Trap” (June 12, 2010) – During Kyouya’s captivity, he advances quickly, which Douji notices. In response, Douji challenges Kyouya by throwing him into a chasm and to face nature and the elements.

“Leone’s Counterattack” (July 24, 2010) – Kyouya returns from his training and breaks up the Face Hunters. He is ready to challenge anyone in his way including Benkei and Kenta. His attacks are wilder and more difficult to defend against.

“Heated Battle! Gingka Versus Kyoya” (July 25, 2010) – Ginga faces off against Kyouya and Rock Leone in a showdown. The lion Beyblade unleashes its new skill, which Kyouya developed in the wilderness. Using the spirit of Pegasus, Ginga defends himself.

“Chase The Wolf” (July 31, 2010) – Ginga decides to track down and find the fortress of Douji. After the Battle with Kyouya, he understands that Douji must be stopped.

“Infiltrate The Dark Nebula’s Castle” (August 1, 2010) – Ginga reaches the Dark Nebula stronghold and infiltrates it. He must confront Merci’s latest tricks and also an army of Beyblade fighters, finally facing Douji himself. The mysterious Ryuuga is awakened in this episode.

“L-Drago Awakens” (August 7, 2010) – Ryuuga awakens and Ginga faces him in his forbiddon Bey. L-Drago is the forbidden Bey they face off against and as the battle wears on, Ginga must delve deeper within himself and avenge what Ryuuga did to him in the past.

“Memories of Ryo” (August 8, 2010) – After being defeated by Ryuuga and having his life force drained, Ginga becomes depressed and is unable to function properly. He has a heart to heart with Kenta, revealing his life story and his connection to his father Ryo and all the other Beyblade characters.

Beyblade Episodes

“Mysterious Hyoma” (August 14, 2010) – Ginga leaves the city and returns to his village. Kenta and Madoka split up with Kyoya and Benkei after they have an argument.

“The Magnificent Aries” (August 15, 2010) – A strange man appears named Hyouma and has the Beyblade “Aries”. He beats Kenta and Benkei in battles.

“The Silver Pegasus” (August 21, 2010) – The group (Kenta and friends) arrives in Koma Village and meet a talking dog. They are in search of Ginga, who has left looking for secrets on the dangerous snowy mountain.

“Green Hades” (August 22, 2010) – When Ginga returns from the mountain, he meets Kenta and the others. He has a different attitude and swears to challenge Ryuuga again.

“Conquer The Tag-team Battle!” (August 28, 2010) – When the group returns from Koba Village, Madoka gives their Beys maintenance. Modaka realizes that by switching four parts, different abilities can be achieved.

“Begin! The Survival Battle!” – The survival battle gives the winner one granted wish, which is sponsored by WBBA. The WBBA develops Beyblades, holds and manages tournaments. All the characters participate in the games. Ginga wins five battles, until a mysterious boy appears, who has won ten consecutive appearances.

“Warriors On A Deserted Island” (September 4, 2010) – The 1000 participants in the tournament are whittled down to 100. During a battle Benkei tries to give Kenta first aid on his injured arm. A boy named “Yuu” guides both of them to the nearest medical facility.

“The Fearsome Libra” (September 5, 2010) – Yu has an explosive finishing move, which is a flash of light and a shock that runs through the assembly hall. Yuu defeats both Kenta and Benkei and Ginga decides to challenge the boy.

“The Road To The Battle Raiders” (September 11, 2010) – Yuu wins the tournament and his wish is to hold a tournament called “Battle Bladers”, which is consists of two bladers facing off against one another. When the wish is granted, Douji enters and announces that the Dark Nebula is organizing competitors.
